My goal for 2008 is to take the plunge into the internet dating scene. Here are my experiences--all true.

MAN QUESTION OF THE WEEK
When you start to IM with a man online, questions go back and forth, so you can get to know one another. I just ask them to tell me the basics--their job, interests, divorced, any children, and location. It never fails, they come back with their physical details (height, hair color, weight, eye color, smile, build). WHY do mean feel the need to tell about their looks first?? I'm trying to see if they have a brain first...LOL.

INFORMATION ON MY "BLAST FROM THE PAST" POSTS
The actual urge to date more started for me last fall. All the things up until now make me the "Internet Dating Woman" I am today, so they are important. Everyday from now on I will put up "Blast From The Past" posts until I'm only posting current happenings. Intermingled in the "Blast from the Past" posts will be my current dating adventures. I want to let you know where I am today. Due to my profession, I won't divulge all the details on my experiences. I will have to say I would love to put it ALL out there because it makes the stories so much more interesting. The men I've come across for the whole seem very lacking in social skills, manners, and out of touch with women today. Yes, there are men that are well rounded and someone you would like to been seen with in public, just not many. Of course this all subjective on my part, so "take my thoughts with a HUGE grain of salt". You might ask, "What is my ultimate goal in dating?" Good question people. I enjoy the company of the opposite sex. Having a man to do things with provides another point of view. I have many wonderful girlfriends, too. I'm not looking for marriage. Let me REPEAT...I'm not looking for marriage. Life is wonderful for me now, but yes I do like the occasional diversion.
